Green Tea Ice Cream

Homemade green tea ice cream! I started with Serious Eats’ recipe and tweaked it a bit. Instead of whole milk, I used 2%. I used a 1:1 proportion of milk to heavy cream, and I think this resulted in an ice cream that was still too rich for me. I would recommend at least 2:1, especially considering that the olive oil gelato that I made was 3.5:1. I shelled out too much for the Ito En brand matcha powder that I used here.
Does anyone know where I can find affordable matcha powder in NYC?
